Three ways to create your ABHA
Pick whatever you have on hand — all three give you the same ABHA number and card.
Aadhaar
Verify with an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile. The fastest route — your name and details are filled in for you.
Mobile number
No Aadhaar handy? Start with just your mobile number and a one-time password, then add your details.
Driving licence
A self-declared ABHA using your driving licence, verified later at a participating facility.

You control who sees what
Nothing is shared without your consent. Grant and revoke access to any doctor or hospital in a tap.
Your whole family

Government-backed & portable
ABHA is issued under India’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and works across the country.
New to ABHA?
The Ayushman Bharat Health Account is your free, voluntary, 14-digit health identity from the National Health Authority. You get an ABHA number, an easy address like yourname@abdm, and a QR card that works at ABDM-participating facilities across India. Creating one takes an Aadhaar OTP and a few minutes — your Aadhaar data is encrypted and never stored by ExaHealth.
ABHA card — frequently asked questions
Is creating an ABHA card free?
Yes. Creating an ABHA number and ABHA card is completely free under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. ExaHealth does not charge you to create or use it.
What is the difference between an ABHA number and an ABHA address?
The ABHA number is a unique 14-digit ID for your health records. The ABHA address (like yourname@abdm) is an easy-to-remember username you use to log in and share records — similar to an email or UPI ID.
Do I need an Aadhaar card to create an ABHA?
No. Aadhaar is the quickest option, but you can also create an ABHA using just your mobile number, or with a driving licence. You choose what works for you.
Is my health data safe with ABHA?
Your records are never shared without your explicit consent. ABHA follows ABDM’s consent framework, so you decide which doctor or hospital can view your data, and for how long — and you can revoke it any time.
Can I create ABHA for my parents and children?
Yes. With ExaHealth you can create and manage ABHA profiles for your whole family from one account, so every family member’s reports stay organised in one place.
What can I do after creating my ABHA?
Link your existing lab reports, prescriptions and hospital records, share them securely with any doctor, and let ExaHealth turn those numbers into plain-English insights about your health.
